In the world of gaming, we rarely come across a title that truly pushes the boundaries of artistic expression. However, the upcoming release of Kejora, a hand-drawn animated puzzle platformer, promises an exceptional and visually stunning experience. Developed by the Indonesian Studio Berangin Creative, this long-awaited game has captured the attention of gaming enthusiasts with its art style since we named it one of our most anticipated Indonesian games of 2021.

Set in a peaceful village shrouded in mystery, Kejora revolves around the journey of a young girl named Kejora, who inadvertently stumbles upon a dark secret. As she delves deeper into the enigma, Kejora finds herself relentlessly pursued by monstrous creatures. Fortunately, she is not alone in her quest, as she is accompanied by two loyal friends with unique abilities to aid her in overcoming the various obstacles that stand in her way.

Discover the Artistic Beauty of Kejora

One of the most striking aspects of Kejora lies in its breathtaking hand-drawn visuals. Each frame is meticulously crafted with intricate details and an art style that truly brings the game’s world to life and showcases the talent and dedication of the small indie team behind the game. From vibrant forests to haunting caverns, the stunning environments clearly inspired by the team’s country of origin, Indonesia, will leave players constantly amazed and eager to explore further.

The traditional frame-by-frame animation employed in Kejora further accentuates its visual appeal. Although this animation style is time-consuming, the developers ensure each action flows seamlessly on-screen.

Players will encounter many puzzles and challenges that require both wit and skill. With the assistance of Kejora’s two supporting characters, players must navigate treacherous obstacles, outsmart enemies, and unravel the mysteries within the game’s richly detailed world.

Already Thought to be Lost, Puzzle Platformer Kejora Returns From the Dead

For years, Kejora remained an elusive dream, a game destined never to see the light of day. However, with the recent launch of its Steam page, fans can finally rejoice as the release of Kejora on PC (Steam) seems near. Although an official release date is yet to be announced, the anticipation and excitement surrounding this long-awaited title are palpable.
