Neon Doctrine co-founders’ Goldpact Goblins is a New Global Games Adventure

February 8, 2026 | Kenzie

Neon Doctrine is a well-known name in the Southeast Asian games industry. They have supported a handful of games from the region, such as Gamechanger Studio’s My Lovely Wife and My Lovely Empress, Kaigan Games’ Simulacra series, and Keybol Games’ Jack Axe, and are active in Southeast Asian games community with a constant presence at industry events.

So when the publisher’s co-founders, Vladislav Tsopljak and Iain Garner, exited the company, there was interest in what’s next for the games industry veterans. The answer: they’re taking their industry experience to a new company dedicated to “developer services,” named Goldpact Goblins, with the support of Raw Fury co-founder and Stumpysquid’s Gordon Van Dyke.

This new venture offers services for small and midsized indie developers in the form of “community-first solutions” in the areas of community management, marketing, social media outreach, production, business development, focus testing, QA, branding, and strategy. One of their unique strengths is their on-the-ground team based in Mainland China, enabling them to provide the same services in Simplified Chinese.

Amongst their current roster of partners are some Southeast Asian developers, namely:

Glory Jam (Indonesia) on Grim Trials

OPNeon Games (Malaysia) on TCG Card Shop Simulator

Kaigan Games (Malaysia) on Deadly Rehearsal

The freshly-minted company aims to help game developers to navigate the intimidating business of games. “We want to provide a sustainable model that helps the local industry grow and thrive and allows developers to keep their gold in their pockets after launch,” said Tsopljak.

Their experience in game communities is also a highlight of the support the company offers. “What we’ve learned is that the heart of almost every successful game is a thriving community and our unique strategies are designed to help studios build, understand, and support communities that survive and thrive long after the Goblins have left the building,” said Garner.

Since then, she’s been obsessively playing and writing about games and interactive fiction. She hopped aboard VirtualSEA to discover more about the regional game industry and help promote its talent and titles. She has a rolling list of favorite games, but Knights of the Old Republic and Horizon Zero Dawn come out on top.
