Multiplayer Brawler GigaBash Receives Release Window & New Kaiju

July 14, 2021 | Andreas Betsche

Everyone who is waiting for the multiplayer arena brawler GigaBash should sit up and take notice! Malaysian studio Passion Republic Games has announced a release window for their game, which will finally be out for PC and PlayStation 4 in early 2022.

In isometric 3D arenas, up to 4 players fight for supremacy by beating their way through destructible environments with giant monsters and heroes. Special skills and events both for the Kaijus and on the maps should provide the necessary variety. With its colourful style and pretty animations, the material shown for GigaBash already develops a wonderfully fun-looking chaos flow. No wonder that we have already counted the game among our most-awaited titles for 2021. It will come out a little later now, but our expectations for entertaining multiplayer matches remain just as high.

In addition to the release date, Passion Republic Games also announced a new character for the 4-player brawler. Rohanna, the Ancient Monarch of Tarabak Island, adds a plant-like summoner heroine to the selection of playable Kaijus. She can call on vegetal tools such as exploding minions, ground spikes, and a massive baseball bat for help. More details about Rohanna will be revealed at PAX Online East 2021 soon.

There is good news for early adopters too: GigaBash will have a closed-Alpha playtest this 23rd – 26th July 2021. More information on how to participate can be found on their social media channels.

You can now add GigaBash to your wish list on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
