Coffee Talk Tokyo Set to Brew in 2025
Indonesian Toge Productions and Publisher Chorus have announced the next instalment in their popular visual novel series, Coffee Talk Tokyo, slated for release in 2025. The game will be available on multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Revealed during Nintendo’s Indie World showcase, this third entry in the Coffee Talk series takes players again to a late-night coffee shop, this time in an alternate near-future Tokyo. As in previous games, players assume the role of a barista, serving drinks and listening to a diverse cast of characters, including humans and fantastical beings.

The game introduces new characters such as Kenji, a kappa salaryman facing retirement, Vin, the barista’s assistant, and Ayame, a ghost navigating her afterlife. Fans can also look forward to cameos from familiar faces.

Returning to the project are composer Andrew “AJ” Jeremy, co-writer Anna Winterstein, and Japanese translator Kimitaka Ogawa, who joins the writing team. New features include enhanced latte art capabilities with sprinkle stencils and an upgraded in-game social media app called Tomodachill.

Coffee Talk Tokyo promises to continue the series’ tradition of blending warm drinks with engaging storytelling, offering players a fresh cup of narrative-driven gameplay in 2025.
