Point-and-Click Adventure Blends Indonesian Culture with Futuristic Road Trip in 2118

Playlist X Studio, a newly established independent game developer from Indonesia, has announced their debut title, “Vista Pantoura: After the Last Shift.”

The game is set in the year 2118 and promises to blend science fiction elements with Indonesian cultural influences in a point-and-click adventure.

Vista Pantoura follows a road trip narrative that explores the relationship between humans and robots, featuring interactive elements such as recipe collection for authentic dishes and an original soundtrack featuring Indonesian indie musicians.

While still in early development, Vista Pantoura the exclusive first-look game art showcases a beautiful Moebius-ish art style that sets it apart from most sci-fi games. The studio plans to release an alpha demo by August 2025.

This combination of futuristic themes with cultural elements marks an interesting direction, though specific gameplay details remain limited at this early stage.
