gamescom asia, Singapore’s video games event, is set to return for its fourth edition this October, bringing together industry leaders, developers, and gamers from across the region. The event, scheduled for October 17-20 at Suntec Singapore, promises an exciting lineup of exhibitions, conferences, and entertainment.

CAPCOM, a major global game developer and publisher, has confirmed its participation in the event’s entertainment area. Attendees can look forward to hands-on demos of upcoming CAPCOM titles and the CAPCOM Pro Tour 2024 SUPER PREMIER SINGAPORE, an official tournament for Street Fighter 6.

Shawn Layden, former CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment America (SIEA), will headline the business area conference with a fireside chat to share insights and predictions about the games industry.

gamescom asia will also feature exhibitors from around the world, including country pavilions from Singapore, Thailand, and Spain.

The business area, open on October 17-18, will offer B2B networking opportunities and a conference program featuring over 80 industry experts. Speakers from international companies such as CD Projekt Red, Riot Games, and SEGA but also Southeast Asian studios like Agate and Altitude Studios are confirmed to present.

For gaming fans, the entertainment area, running from October 18-20, will showcase the latest video games from major publishers and indie studios. The expanded indie area, in partnership with Indie Wavemakers, will spotlight indie developers.

gamescom asia 2024 expects to attract over 40,000 visitors and more than 150 exhibitors, solidifying its position as a key event in the rapidly growing Southeast Asian gaming market.
