Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the latest installment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, is now available on various platforms such as PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Amazon Luna, and Windows PC through the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store.
Developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux, the game celebrates the franchise’s 15th anniversary with a narrative-driven action-adventure that revives the parkour, stealth, and assassinations mechanics that have made the series popular over the years. Players will take on the role of Basim Ibn Is’haq, a young thief who joins the Hidden Ones on a quest for answers, and follow his transformation into a Master Assassin, while uncovering the truth about his destiny.
Set in ninth-century Baghdad, one of the most important cities of its time, Assassin’s Creed Mirage returns the franchise to the Middle East. Players will explore the bustling streets of the Abbasid Caliphate’s capital and witness growing unrest, leading to a revolution against corruption. The game has been developed with the support of a dedicated task force, including external historians, to ensure historical accuracy and authenticity, including cultural and religious aspects. Assassin’s Creed Mirage also marks a historic milestone as the first game in the series to be released worldwide with full Arabic localization. Players can learn more about the game’s historical setting through the in-game History of Baghdad feature.
