October 18, 2024 | Kenzie

gamescom asia continues to build momentum in its 2024 edition.

The Business Zone floor features notable players in the games industry, including developers, publishers, service providers, organizations, and more.

The participation of country pavilions also gives an international flair to the event.

Thailand’s presence continues from their 2023 participation with many exciting homegrown games.

The Philippines also brings together various companies in services and game development.

Singapore’s Games Association also delivered their support for the event.

Games from Spain, representing the country as a growing hub for indie games development, presented companies and games to an Asian audience of business partners and gamers.

The Business Zone also hosted a preview of the Indie Wavemakers exhibit, which featured international games like Generation Synthesis, Quarks Interactive’s Quantum Odyssey, Potofu Studio’s FUFUFU, Emina Studio’s ACE Strategy, and Zai Studio’s Dala and the Cursed Forest.

The Business Zone also hosted three stages addressing various aspects of game production, publishing, and marketing.

Kenzie

Kenzie received a second childhood by crunching five generations of video game history in her free time – out of pure boredom and fascination. Since then, she’s been obsessively playing and writing about games and interactive fiction. She hopped aboard VirtualSEA to discover more about the regional game industry and help promote its talent and titles. She has a rolling list of favorite games, but Knights of the Old Republic and Horizon Zero Dawn come out on top.
