Chiyo

“Chiyo” is a first-person, single-player puzzle game that takes place in an escape room-style environment. The game is set in the Edo-era Japanese horror backdrop and is in the same universe as “MALICE”. In the game, you play as Idate Chiyo, a newly recruited paranormal investigator of the Tokugawa Shogunate’s Magical Arcane Division. Your first assignment is to investigate strange occurrences that have been reported to have originated from an abandoned mansion located in the forested interior of the small coastal city of Gōtsu in Shimane Prefecture. As you explore the mansion, you will encounter strange and malevolent spirits, devious contraptions, and puzzles that you must solve to progress. Additionally, you will uncover a dark family history that threatens your survival.
