Sanuk Games Reveals ‘Whacking Hell!’: A “Vampire Survivors”-like for 2024 Release
Sanuk Games, a game development studio with a team based in Thailand and France, has announced its latest game, “Whacking Hell!” The game, which draws inspiration from Vampire Survivors, is set to be released in 2024 and will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Sony PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X and S.

Sanuk Games was founded in 2003 and is known for developing arcade games for PC and consoles, such as the Pro Fishing Simulator, Nova Strike, and Drumbox.
“Whacking Hell!” is a 2D top-down shooter heavily inspired by popular games in the genre like “Vampire Survivors” and “20 Minutes Till Dawn”. However, Sanuk Games promises unique gameplay patterns and art style. The first gameplay trailer shows a slightly less pixelated 2D look with a horror, medieval background.

In the game, players control their characters and fight against waves of enemies using automatic skills and weapons. The goal is to collect “souls” to unlock better weapons and become an almost invincible superhero. The game promises five characters, five primary weapons to unlock, and five stages, each with multiple waves of enemies and two bosses to defeat.
A game demo is available on Steam, and Sanuk Games is looking for feedback from players to improve the game further.
